Charge Clean ("Charge Clean", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy and Security Policy explains how RTCXFC Industries Private Limited, which operates the Charge Clean platform, collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the Charge Clean mobile application ("App") and related services.

By accessing or using the Charge Clean App, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue using the App.

This policy applies to all services provided through the Charge Clean App. We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. Updates will be indicated by revising the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

We collect certain categories of information to operate and improve the Charge Clean services.

A. Information Provided by You (Direct Collection)

When you register or use the Charge Clean App, you may provide the following information.

• Mobile Number (verified through OTP)

Vehicle and Battery Information

• Vehicle Company
• Vehicle Model
• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) / Chassis Number
• Battery Serial / Identification Number (BIN)
• Vehicle Registration Number (optional)

Verification Image Upload

Users may be required to upload a photo clearly showing the Battery Serial/Identification Number (BIN) for verification purposes.

This image is used only for verification of the registered vehicle and battery associated with the user account.

Wallet Top-Up Information

Wallet top-ups are processed through Razorpay’s secure payment gateway. We may receive limited transaction-related information such as:

• Transaction amount
• Transaction status
• Transaction timestamp

Charge Clean does not collect or store sensitive payment credentials, including card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or bank login details.

B. Information Collected Automatically (Service Data)

When you use the App, certain technical and service-related information may be collected automatically.

App Usage Information

• Device type
• Operating system
• App version
• Session duration
• System logs and error reports

Charging Session Data

• Session start and stop time
• Energy consumed (kWh)
• State of Charge (SOC)
• Charging duration
• Charging cost

Communication Data

• Records of support requests
• Notifications sent through the App
• System alerts and service messages

C. Verification Data

Information submitted during onboarding, including personal details, vehicle and battery information, and uploaded images, may be reviewed and verified by the Charge Clean administrative team to ensure authenticity and proper verification of vehicles and batteries associated with the platform.

D. Camera and Gallery Permissions

To enable verification of vehicle and battery details, the Charge Clean App may request permission to access your device'scamera and photo gallery.

This access is used only for uploading required verification images such as:

• A photo clearly showing the Battery Serial/Identification Number (BIN)

Users may either:

• Capture an image using their device camera
• Select an existing image from their gallery

The App does not access, scan, or collect any other images, videos, or files on your device.

Uploaded images are:

• Encrypted during transmission
• Securely stored
• Used only for verification purposes

These images will not be shared with external parties except where required by law or legal process.

Users may request correction or deletion of uploaded verification images by contacting customer support.

If a user uploads an incorrect or unintended image, Charge Clean shall not be liable for issues arising from such uploads. Users are responsible for ensuring that correct and relevant images are submitted.

Camera and gallery permissions may be revoked at any time through device settings. However, doing so may prevent completion of required verification processes.

E. Location Information

Charge Clean may collect city or approximate location information to display available charging stations in your area.

This information is used solely to enable the feature of listing chargers available in your city.

Charge Clean does not track real-time GPS location for live monitoring.

Location information will not be shared with third parties except when required by law.

Users may control or restrict location access through their device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect may be used for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your user account
• Verifying your identity, vehicle, and battery information
• Providing EV charging services through the App
• Processing wallet transactions, billing, and receipts
• Sending notifications such as charging updates, invoices, alerts, and service announcements
• Improving app functionality and user experience

Charge Clean provides a closed-loop wallet operated by RTCXFC Industries Private Limited.

• Wallet balances can only be used within the Charge Clean platform
• Wallet funds cannot be transferred to bank accounts or other wallets
• Sensitive payment credentials are never stored by Charge Clean

All wallet top-ups are processed through Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure.

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with applicable laws.

User Account Information

Retained while the account remains active and for a limited period thereafter for compliance purposes.

Vehicle, Battery, and Verification Data

Retained while the account remains active.
